SMS Consent & Opt-In Methods

Our commitment

MaxSam Recovery Services never sends a text message to anyone who has not first consented to receive text messages from us. Consent is obtained through one of the three documented methods below, before the first message is sent. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately; reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency: up to 4 messages per claim. Message and data rates may apply.

Method 1 — Verbal consent by phone (primary)

A MaxSam representative places a phone call to individuals named on public Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands surplus-funds records. Phone numbers are checked against the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal opt-out list before any call; landline numbers are identified via carrier line-type lookup and are never sent text messages.

During the call, the representative reads the following consent script verbatim:

“Would you like me to text you the details and a secure link to review? You’ll receive up to 4 messages about your claim. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”

A text message is sent only if the person answers yes. Each verbal consent is logged with the date, time, phone number, and representative name before the first message is transmitted. If the person declines, no text message is ever sent to that number.

Method 2 — Website form

Visitors to our contact page may check an unchecked-by-default box stating: “I agree to receive text messages from MaxSam Recovery Services about my claim. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” Consent is recorded with IP address, timestamp, and the exact language displayed.

Method 3 — Keyword opt-in

Texting START, YES, or SUBSCRIBE to a MaxSam number opts the sender in. We reply with a confirmation message stating the program name, message frequency, and opt-out instructions.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or END to any message to opt out immediately. Reply HELP or INFO for assistance. Opt-outs are honored automatically and permanently on all MaxSam numbers.
